Suncor sells a variety of threaded product and thread types are generally fine or course and left or right. They are mostly called out as UN parts and mostly right hand thread.

UN (Unified) is a specification of the shape and dimensions of the thread for a given size (diameter) of fastener and number of threads per inch of fastener length.

The thread is generally called out in a 3 letter sequence with the third letter being the type of thread, fine or course.

UNC - Unified Course

UNF- Unified Fine

Users can call out their product side and required thread
